I joined the central team at Waterton Academy Trust in 2018, coming from a school business management background.
Since joining Waterton, I have proudly achieved CIPD status. The HR qualification supports delivery within my role and I am able to put theory into practice. The role of HR Manager is varied and covers all aspects of Human Resources and Employee Relations. I enjoy supporting and advising all 13 Waterton academies and Waterton pre-school in HR focused workflow.
Waterton is definitely people focussed; because of this, I feel proud to be part of the HR and central operations team. All Waterton colleagues are dedicated and passionate individuals who seek to improve the lives of our children.
Being a member of the wider HR Managers network, I work collaboratively with dedicated HR professionals across the district where we are able to share good practice.
