Children's Learning Resources

Dear Parent/Carer,

FAO all families who have children REGISTERED for income related free school meals and are currently learning at home.

Please note this does not apply to those children in key stage 1 who do not pay for school meals unless they have been registered to do so through the income related free school meals scheme.

A meal will be provided for all children who are entitled to and registered for income related free school meals whilst learning at home. A parent should attend school between 12:00 and 12:30 to collect a 'grab bag' lunch to take home for each eligible child. Wherever possible and safe to do so, please do not bring additional family members onto the school site to collect with you. On your journey to school and whilst collecting lunch please consider the wellbeing of our staff and fellow members of the community and follow government social distancing wherever possible.

All identified dietary requirements have been considered in the production of the grab bag.

If you think your child may be eligible for a free school meal but you have not registered you will need to complete the registration process before a meal can be provided. Further details and a form are available on the Wakefield Council website https://www.wakefield.gov.uk/schools-and-children/free-school-meals
