Headteacher at Crofton Infants' School
I am delighted to have been recently appointed as headteacher of Crofton Infants’ School and I feel proud to be part of such a lovely school community. Since qualifying from York St John University I have worked in a number of schools and local authorities in a range of roles from the classroom to senior leadership. I have taught throughout the primary phase but specialised in infant education having worked as a leading teacher for early years before becoming a deputy head teacher.
I have a strong child centred approach to learning, and understand that achievement and enjoyment go hand in hand to ensure each child’s success. It is my goal to ensure that every child at Crofton Infants School reaches their full potential and leaves the school happy, confident and ready for the rest of their educational journey.
I am excited to be working collaboratively with the Waterton Academy Trust and look forward to making a positive difference to the children at Crofton Infants’.
